Good idea.

I was thinking of just wrapping the car in bubble wrap. We have a four year old and I cringe every time he goes into the garage... that scares me more than the door opening !!!

No children allowed in the garage while Daddy's car is in it. I found these online and installed them. Work pretty well.

gotcha... you could make your own insulation from old newspapers. and for the time being put up plastic sheeting to create an air barrier within the wall to help insulate.
