My car is my DD and I hardly ever turn the nannies off. I put my car in comp mode this am on my way to work. 1st gear doing 25 mph, nailed it on dry asphalt, broke loose and spun some. 2nd gear at around 40 mph or so, broke loose again and spun some. It was like

No need for launch control in an automatic. It's an automatic, it does it for you. Slipping the clutch is the tricky part.

Steering is tighter in CM. I usually switch it to CM as soon as I pull out of the driveway... steering feel is great!

Having said all that, I am not saying you are wrong or right, It just does not make any sense to me. Couldn't Competition Mode mean the Nannies are all the way off? It makes a little sense...if you are going to be in a competition it would be reasonable to not want the nannies to get in the way. I should not have to go get in my car and go get it sideways to see if Stabilitrack is really all the way off or not when it says that it is indeed off. frustrating... faSSteddie |
