What you are seeing from the side is the plastic of the cupholder angles down. The fit is really good and it's a nice piece. I don't have it stuck down yet, just sitting there so it may be shifted over a tiny bit.

I believe this is the Toddsnake piece, but the brochure that came with it had a different business name on it. I'll have to locate it and post it up.

Ok here are my cardboard mockups first.

With the slot.

Without the slot.

Real piece without the slot, NOT in car yet. Brushed Stainless steel.

Ran out of daylight today, so we could not get an installed picture.
We will try that tomorrow.
