The problem with the ad is it says it comes with a 430hp LS3. It does not. So I don't know if the owner has any idea what it has.

My 14 Camaro is 2SS non-Rs. I wanted Halos but not the rear RS tailights/chrome lip on the bumper so I got it this way. I just bought the Halos after I bought the car nd got the harness from Gen5DIY. Tbh I think my car looks better AGM with halos and no chrome lip/Non-RS grill. Also I get white SS badges and looks good with the superbright halos and dark AGM paint!

And also it states "Fully Loaded" and in his list also states it has every option. Made me chuckle a little.

I deliberately went looking for a 1SS. I couldn't find one local to me that didn't also have the RS box checked.

My thought process at the time was, 1SS would generally come with fewer of the weightier options, a bit more base model. So, less likely to have things like subwoofer, for example, selected. Sunroof is part of the 2SS, as I understood it, as another example.

While at the dealership I wound up talking to the gentleman who does their ordering, and he commented that he's a bit out to sea on what to select for Camaros when ordering lot inventory. Everyone seems to want theirs a bit differently configured, was his thought.

So mine, which was an inventory car, he ordered with the short throw shifter, the RS package, reverse camera, and the strut tower brace, to kind of bridge the gap between the 1 SS and 2 SS. It had a build date of September, and sat around the lot from delivery until April of this year.

So, there's one way, and what thought process lead to, a 1SS / RS, as illogical as the combination may seem.

Sunroof is not standard on the 2SS, my 2SS non-RS car has no sun roof.

Yeah, thought I was probably wrong about that. I've seen a couple 2 SS without sunroofs since I bought mine. Thanks.
