I think it comes down to how you intend to use it. My vert is the perfect car for me because it's a garage kept cruiser. I would be disappointed if I liked tracking a car since the vert limits your options there. I also don't know if I'd like my vert as much if it was a daily driver/all weather vehicle, but other people do it so it comes down to personality.

If you intend on hitting back roads on summer Sunday mornings with the top down, it's like a mini 2 hour vacation...

The car is like 2 in 1. On cloudy days or quick jaunts from A to B, leaving the top up FEELS like a coupe. We have both so I can attest to this with a bit of knowledge. Maybe because it is rather solid. But if it's nice enough, you drop that top and it's a completely different car to drive.

You definitely watch the near-term weather around you closer in the convertible than you do a coupe, that's for sure.

got rid of the 2013 Lexus IS Convertible lease and picked up the 2013 camaro convertible as the replacement. love it. Up to me I would have one of each HTop and Vert

Or wait for the 2016. They added a cover for the top once it is down.

I hadn't been caring for the 2016, but the more I am seeing the more I am liking it. Not sure, we shall see how I feel in 4 years.
