true but the current truck only had 2 model years. Previously seemed like trucks and SUVs went about 4 to 5 before face lifts.

Sierra's getting a refresh too.
Interesting. Does that mean the SUVs are going to get facelifts soon too?

Looks more the other way around. There's some Colorado influence in this new Silverado.

T1XX Silverado is already due in 2018 for MY2019.

Unknown. GM owns the full size SUV market though so I'm sure they aren't exactly rushing to refresh them.

Well, looks like I'm in the minority again. I was one of the few that liked this generations styling when it debuted, and now I guess I'm one of the few that doesn't like the changes they made.

Trucks have to look like the truckiest trucks that ever trucked because trucks.

Either way, love what I am seeing. The 16 facelift IMO looks 1000 times better than the current truck
I think you answered your own question. When the current (old?) Silverado came out, the consensus seemed to be that people didn't like it and/or it looked too much like the previous generation. By tweaking the styling, it will now appeal to people that didn't want one before.

If you think thats fast, look at the 8th gen Malibu. Came out for the 2013 model year, the 2014s were a refresh, and the next gen is a 2016

Thankfully someone finally told them to stop building a turd for the rental car market and to get competitive.

Exactly and then I'm a buyer or I'm going to end up with a Dodge pick up in my driveway.
