Their $39.5k sounds a little high, especially if you are looking to buy 2.
It would be hard to walk away from anything under $39k. Keep pressing on them.

This is reality. The 1LE's go very quickly because they are such a performance value. Try to get them down some more, but don't lose these cars for what is relatively small money. Sometimes a buyer will have a number in their head that represents what they feel is a great deal and if they cannot get that number, they wait too long and lose the car and are very disappointed. I have experienced this first hand. Don't let yourself have that experience. Buy the car.

If you want the car, I would make a lower offer, but would not let a couple grand get in the way of getting this car. I am not convinced that the new SS is going to out perform the 1LE yet, and until I see real times, I will stay unconvinced. Also, as others have said, the 1LE in the Gen 6 platform is no guarantee. We have just over 30K miles on our 2013. It is the most fun car I have ever owned. Don't let this one get away if you want it.

Prices are ok,but D&H / prossessing fees are to high. D&H should never be more than $399.00 . I would offer them $ 900.00 less each and if they don't take it shop an Autonation store close by . Check Truecar in 500 miles from where you are . IMHO August will bring better incentives .

Something is goofy with this deal.

They are taking 12.41% off as a dealer discount (which is unheard of) and THEN giving "2,250" in factory incentives. The GM employee price is not even 12% off.

AND, there isn't even $2,250 in factory incentives on the Camaro right now.
It's $1,000 or 0% financing.

That sheet/sticker is not the factory window sticker.
I'd like to see the MSRP from the actual factory window sticker.

I just built a 1SS 1LE like you listed above.
The sticker price is $40,890, not $42,240 (unless there are other options you didn't mention).

I would want to see the original window sticker and work from there. So much good/proven aftermarket items available for 5th Gen. As for the 1LE, this is my DD and is the best car that I have ever owned! This car is a blast to drive.

Definitely believe you can get $38k out the door for two if not better. I was a little under $38 for one. Got a 2015 1ss w recarao, RS package and NPP. MSRP ~$42k

Good luck!

You didn't get enough feed back from the other topic with the same question?

Of course the price will go down. But what will the selection of available cars be like? Get what you want now, or risk not getting it or not getting what you want. No one else can make that decision for you.

Totally agree. I just ran "1LE" search on cars.com and came up with about 250 in the country. Not all dealers are there, but a bunch are. They are going quickly. We know that the number of 1LE's built each model year is fairly limited.

Exactly! I won't buy an all new car right away, but the magnetic ride 2016 SS will not be "cheap." In May, I searched the west coast for 3 weeks to find the 1LE I wanted at a price I was good with......if you really want them, don't wait too long.

That's why I ordered last month.
Never seen a 1LE around here.

Mine gets built in 2 weeks.
