Zed sled, why did you just call me anal man? Just joking! I use three buckets but my car is airbrushed trying to keep it on there forever...

Levels, not sections Always wash from top to bottom.

I'm sure that's what you meant...but this thread seems to be meant for OCD people like me

For those of you who wax. You should really look into nano coatings. I switched over years ago and will never go back. There are many out there and they are all pretty amazing and last months to years instead of weeks.

The biggest thing is that wax attracts dirt and nano coatings repel dirt.

You can also nano coat a car in half the time of waxing.

I used Wolf's Hardbody on my jeep and the paint remained very hydrophobic for about 18 months.

Opticoat and Cquartz have some very long lasting products, 2-5 years, but I don't have personal experience with them.

I use Sonax Polymer Net Shield on my Camaro. Supposed to last about 6 months. I've only had the car for 2, but it's been great so far. I can put on one coat in about 20 minutes. Shine is unreal and sheets water like i've never seen before.

I just started using Zaino Clear Seal... similar concept. One month in and still looks as good as they day I did it.
