Awesome day in the hot sun and hanging with Bob, Joe and Paul. Thought we were going to melt but we made it till the end. Great show, lots of high quality cars. Not as many as last year, but still a great show. Best part was the Lost in Space Chariot, I took a look and felt like I was 7 years old again, LOL .....and I took home a nice award . Here are some pics:

This was an unbelievable sight watching the Chariot drive across the Wrentham Fairgounds car show field with everyone who remembered those 1960's Lost In Space episodes shouting out, "DANGER WILL ROBINSION, DANGER!" as it zipped past. What's more amazing is that five months ago this was 1965 Thiokol Spryte Arcticcat in Boise Idaho. John Antonellis of Elevator Interior Design of Lynn, MA, challenged his talented team of technicians to build this replica as a fun project. Mass Cruisers Club member Zeke Sawayer got wind of the Chariot and asked if they could display it at our August 15 car show when it was finished. That gave John and his team a deadline and it was finished late last night making its maiden voage across the Wrentham Fairgrounds tundra to the delight of all us "Lost In Space Fans". You can get the whole story and follow the build in detail by logging onto www.chariot.elevatorid.com
