I think I'm going to call them just to get the facts straight. Having the basic service for $14.99 a month might be something I would consider, depending on what you get. Their web site really isn't very clear on that.
My 6 months was up.....they started calling me and actually gave me a good discount on it for signing up for 1 year. I got the level up so if the car was stolen they could disable the vehicle and locate it. For me it is worth it.

5 years is 60 months

2 months free on your 3 months from GM = to 5 months
60 months (5years ) - 5 free months you originally got from GM = to 55 months not 39 !
Or did I read your post wrong ?

Just stop kidding yourself , what makes you think that the person on the other end of that phone call will be very clear and specific about how the all thing works ?
She /he will just basically ask for your CC#s and say thanks , if that

We travel a lot and have been using the app for over a year now. When traveling it's great to be able to start the car when it's hot/cold out a few minutes before going out to it.

Ok I think i'll order the Camosm unit for 30 bucks. Really all I want is to start and lock/unblock the car from my work.

I knows how many months they puts in a year, and I can does 5x12 in me heady-pumpkin all by me lil onesies.

But two out of three is 66%

I received 66% of the offer they promised me, and GM told me I received the full trial period. So, GM has a math system that needs examination: 100% is actually equal to 66% according to GM.

60 times .66 is 39.6

I rounded down (because: GM) resulting in 39.

This may also explain trade-in values, but I need more data points.
