Also, I've looked and looked, and it appears that only three Polk momo component systems even are made.....I think I will be going with the three models of Polk I referenced above......but, if I am, which of those would be the best for me and the amp I got?

Also ideally, I'm going to get a set of tweeter mounts to mount them in the A pillar ..... I like them there better.

The Polk Db6501 have the best reviews on crutchfield.com. Are you using the factory amp to drive these? You may have to upgrade the amp to get the best sound that these speakers can deliver.

The factory amp at minimum will be OK, but more power is always better- that's true at low volume as well as higher volume. You don't need power just to be loud, power delivers accuracy. The shallow mount Polks are for applications that don't allow a regular speaker to fit, and they lack bass.
I've used the models you're looking at many times and they are quite good. Go for it.

Thanks - I went ahead and ordered the db6501's. I'm going to mount the tweeters in the A pillar using a bit (like you'd use to drill a door knob hole) and place them there rather than in the current tweeter enclosure.

The amp I ordered a few days ago is the JVC KS-AX3205D.

The receiver is the Pioneer AVH-270BT.
