tell them you want another 2k off that price due to the tires. Leave them your name and number and i guarantee you'll be getting a phone call soon.. also, are those spider webs inside the fender? lol

I just searched the whole country on AutoTrader.com and found 454 NEW Z/28's (8 are 2014 models). When I filtered for Black only it came up with 189 across the country! The ball is definitely in your court. They should GIVE you that car!
BTW, there are also 268 new Challenger Hellcats listed. Could probably get a good deal on one of those too. |

First thing I would do is get rid of tires. They have scratched up my car all over the sides bad. Take my advice

When I bought mine, they had the $86150 marker adjustment price still in the window too. But across the windshield they had in huge letters, $16,000 off! So I bought it for $60150. So I got mine for $1500 less than they're asking for yours and mine had 4 new tires on it. IF they want to sell it, they'll come down to your terms. Tell them you'll buy it for their asking price with 4 new tires, or $60,000 the way it sits. They'll play their game, but if they know they can sell the car and someone will pay $60,000, they'll sell it. I don't know what state you're in, but no one wants to sit on a Z/28 over the winter.
Edit...never mind about the winter thing, I see you're in Alabama.

My favorite method of "market adjust" is dealer installed options. AKA, fabric guard, theft protection (window etching) etc. Remember undercoating? Thank god that crap went out with hair bands and pet rocks! (Apology to Dokken fans everywhere!) |

I would pass on this one.
Spider webs on the tires, and the tires look a lot more than 58 miles. And total garabage they wouldn't replace cracked tires on an almost brand new car. I was in the same boat but went into a GTR instead plus kept my Camaro as my DD. Good luck on your hunt!

I think I have to agree that you should pass on that particular car. Looks like a big wad of burnt rubber stuck to the tire as well.

They look like mine after a track day, So i would think that they have been doing burnouts, if you like the car buy it the tire issue is nothing to worry about. if you can get a few more dollars off the price than great. This is a great car, Buy it and start enjoying it. I paid more for mine and I'm happy to own it. The stock tires throw everything so you will want to get a set of street tires anyways.

Looks like 58 miles of tire abuse. Car is not broken in, while in possesion they were doing burn outs and screwed up the tires, and they will not replace them? As mentioned looks like a big chunk of rubber stuck on...... I would pass.

See if there is more rubber stuck to the tires like that clump in the pic. If there is, it got taken to a track day.
Takes me hundreds of miles to get all that off after a track day. And that doesn't come from street driving. You only get melted on clumps like that from a track day. |
