Just go to a sign shop and buy a piece of commercial grade vinyl. The rolls of vinyl are 24" wide I think. They will sell you a strip as small as 12" long. This upgrade is easy, inexpensive, and you can repeat it if you mess up several times using this single piece. Once you cover the emblem, simply cut the outline using the grove between the gold & chrome finish.
Pre-cut vinyl is a must if it's lettering or something detailed...but there is no need to buy pre-cut vinyl for bowtie blackouts.

i know this is a dumb Q but wut exactly is a wet application? I messed up a lil on the front bow tie as well and wanna know how i can get the creases out.

thats cause its not a garage, its a carport. so leaves and stuff always blow in there and it is really hard to keep the "floor" clean....i know excuses excuses

here's a picture of my red camaro withRED bowtie...i think it looks sharp. I also might consider a white one, I think that'd look solid as well. Black is also good.
