when it comes time to change your rotors out, Try and pull your rotors off with the parking brake applied, then watch them fall off when you release the parking brake

Sounds like the parking brake mechanism needs to be adjusted. Take it back to the dealer - it should fully engage with the handle only about half way up. It should be very tight at that point - in neutral on a hill the car should go nowhere.
Most cars have tension adjustment screws/bolts under the center arm rest for this, and they should be able to adjust the tension to each wheel individually. The proper way to do it is to find the tension adjustment bolts, jack the rear of the car up, pull the parking brake handle up about half way, and spin the rear wheels individually by hand, and tighten the tension bolts untill the very point the wheels no longer spin (and do not tighten the bolts after that point). |

Mine works fine. Holds steady. Um, did you contact the dealer to have it checked/fixed? You know you have a warranty that covers stuff like this.

"I rent a lot of cars, but I don't always know everything about them. So a lot of times, I drive for like ten miles with the emergency brake on. That doesn't say a lot for me, but it really doesn't say a lot for the emergency brake. It's really not an emergency brake, it's an emergency 'make the car smell funny' lever."

Sounds like someone needs it to take it to the dealer ship and have them fix it.
