That's not his question and some people don't want the V8. Live and let live.

On my 2010 V6 I had the SOLO CAT Back and loved it. It sounds tough and has that deep tone..yes...even on the V6. It's not as deep as the V8 for obvious reason, but many times I was asked if it was a V8 and lots of compliments on it. It was also louder than my Borla ATAK on my SS. That's the route I would go...SOLO CAT Back.

I have to agree ... Although I'm a big fan of Flowmasters, there's a guy in town that has the SOLO CAT backs and I think they have the best, deepest sound Of the aftermarket exhausts I've heard on a V6.

I have a Pypes Midmuffler Catback Exhaust System with Doug Thorley Shorty Headers for my V6 and it is a nice setup. A V6 will never be a V8, but that should not stop you matching up a good exhaust setup. Plus with you having a LLT Engine you can run longtube headers to a good catback exhaust. Look at that as a plus!

Thanks

Put on a carburetor with a manual choke. Close the choke to the point where the engine starts to miss. Loosen the exhaust and wire it loosely to the body so that the exhaust vibrates against the body. Fire up the engine. It will sound exactly like a v8 ...even when revved up

Out of 24 posts only 3 had any relevent info. OP I would suggest an intake, long tubes, and cat back.

Yep complete bullshit , on how a V6 can never sound great.
OP I got BBK Longtube headers with highflow cats , BBK Xpipe with 2@ 21 and @2 17 inch Chambered exhaust mufflers that are hand made in Grand Rapids Mich and VERY reasonable priced . My car has a very low tone and can be loud as **** when I want it to . I have gotten hundreds of compliments on how great it sounds and over half of those think it was a V8.....If you need or want more info PM me and I will help you out .

I second the longtube headers. Combine that with either solo catback or mrt2 and you will have a nice deep growl.

Because it's a silly question. How do I make a non-performance car sound like a performance car? That's what ricers try to do and the result is usually pathetic unless they throw more money into it than they would spend for an actual performance car.
