The front end on my '10 felt kinda skittish over 130-140 mph. I have a feeling a splitter, being lowered an inch or so and a vented hood would help out quite a bit. I really wasn't surprised to see a hood vent standard on the '14-15 SS.

At around 125mph+ the aerodynamics change quite a bit on our cars.
My stock V6 felt a little unsettled above 128mph. The ZL1 feels completely solid at high speeds. I've had mine up around 155mph+ at the track at Auto Club Speedway. It will go faster but you can only take the banked turns so fast....lol

Couple of mods and gunning out the governor, and z rated tires. You do not want to lose a tire at those speeds.

On the v6 with RS option, the limiter is 155. Closest I've gotten is 120, and things started to feel a little squirrelly with a stock suspension and the car starts to lose downforce... not a great feeling.

That is about what I was thinking. Stock suspension and aerodynamics really isnt meant to be pushed that hard in most cars from my experience.

I hit 118 then the limiter hit because the tires can't get anymore (the 1ls tires). Does it void the warranty to take the limiter off?

It's not worth it, I hit the track to get my speed fix. Also, i'm selling the Camaro since I just bought a 2000 Miata to drive and do track/autocross in. The miata is actually more fun to drive around the street because I can beat on it and still not break the law. The Camaro goes from 0 to Jail in seconds.

I've had mine up to 125 and she wanted more just ran out of real estate. It is always a rush to get on the gas in these cars and just feel the power, nothing like it!
