I just fasten the loop around the belt after I put my seatbelt on. And I unfasten the loop before I take my seatbelt off.
I can't stand the belt rubbing my neck without the loop fastened. It's a pain, but I don't want to have to repair the seat cover.

As I was reading through this thread from the first post, this thought of a "sleeve" of some type came to me. Seems that someone already thought of this solution, which makes great sense to me. |

I agree with the sleeve idea. But again why should I have to pay someone fix this when it's a known issue and the car is under warranty?

I would do that but my wife isn't going to go through all that trouble! She wants it fixed correctly. The Recaro's were an additional $2K and this shouldn't be happening!

That's my reasoning for supporting a fix that could be done by yourself, rather than the problem being a warranty matter. I may have been wrong, I'm good with that, but I was trying to offer support for a non-warranty situation, the sleeve option, that was causing you discomfort. Just trying to help. |

I know you aren't looking for a non-dealer solution, but this was something I did to fix the issue. Also kept the belt off my neck.

OK, here's a stupid question. On some cars, you can move where the shoulder belt is on the 'B' pillar.
A. do our coupes have that ? (I have a convertible, so no B pillar or adjustment.) B. If they do, does it make any difference if you lower the attachment point of the shoulder belt? |
