Gt500s are notorious for spinning. I was spinning all the way through 3rd gear. First time at the track I did a 13.9. Four visits later was down to a 12.4. with just the drag radials. I also got better with launching, but I doubt I would have ever gotten into the 12s with stock tires. With this cooler weather I may hit 11s stock with DRs.

I don't race magazines. I race cars. Quit being silly. You said "YOU" cut 1.5 seconds off "YOUR" time. Not someone else's magazine time!I don't base how fast my car is on what Motor Trend says. I base it on what my time slip says. 3-4 10ths are about as good as it gets for an improvement in sixty foot times with just drag radials on a street car. That does not translate to 1.5 second worth of ET. A guy that's getting 11.1s on drag radials is getting 11.7s on street tires! Just say you practiced and got better at driving the car. The tires didn't cut 1.5 seconds off your ET all by themselves. Using your own words. Any Badly driven car (GT500) will instantly go from a 12.5 to an 11.0 with a simple change to sticky tires???

Highest trap is 116, and this being in 2400-2600 d/a air, far from optimal.

With a better clutch (as in newer) and good track prep, I have no doubt that I could a netted a 1.9-1.8 60ft on the Pirelli's.
