I blew up my trans. Never went faster than 154 as it was not shifting well until it finally pooched on my fourth pass. Most people went a bunch faster than last year with the cold air. My friend John went 173 in his ZL1 and another friend went 194 in his mustang.

you're on trans #3 now right?

Trans # 2 was the one that blew up. We knew it was coming and my dealer is replacing it at no charge, but the new arrived Friday afternoon so we ran with the bad one. Trans # 3 is going in this morning. These rebuilds are hit or miss, let's hope I get a good one this time!

Was their a lot of camaros 5th gen at the event . One of my friend took is very zl1 white and went 140 mph. With drag radials cai and tune

Probably at least 20. A couple of Z28s, a bunch of ZL1s and SSs. Fastest ZL1 went 172 I believe.

Sorry to hear about the tranny but I just gotta ask...isn't your ZL1 highly modded and pushing over 700 RWHP? If so how did you get your dealer to replace the tranny at no cost?? Inquiring minds want to know.

I managed a 148 pass on Sunday afternoon. Traction was hard to find either day but Sunday afternoon was definitely the best time to be running. Drove the car up had a blast going fast. Nothing broke and drove the car home.....do it again next year if I'm fast enough on registration day.

The GM rebuilt trans that I paid for, trans #2, was no good from the start so my dealer stepped up and bought me a new one knowing they were not getting warranty for it. I have bought about 30 vehicles from my dealer in the last few years so they will make it back off me!
