I removed mine. Got in the way of the buffer when waxing the car lol

I can't decide either. That chrome strip up near the headlights has been urking the hell out of me. That will definitely need to be blacked out, but can't decide on debadging or blacking out. It does get in the way of waxing though.
How did u guys black out the letters? Plasti-dip? Paint? Bought the black out letters?

I used plastidip on mine. I took an evening and dipped the Camaro letters, the entire rear bowtie (chrome and all), the SS logo, and the taillight bezels. Now the only chrome on my car are the lugs and the exhaust tips, and I'm working on an idea to do the tips as we speak.

Sounds like you removed them, dipped them, then put them back on, is that right? If that's what you did then there's no way I'm going to try it, I tend to screw things up

I didn't like the C5 Camaro badge however I do like the retro C6 Camaro shield so I removed the "C A M A R O" ordered the fender badges for the 2016 from GM and installed them. I like it much better.

It's easier if you leave them on and plasti dip them. Just tape around the surface and you will be fine. If you remove the letters it may be hard to put them back on the car. I debadged mine and I'm so glad I did.
