But the Gen6 posters on that side of forum are going to try and rub our nose in it!
I think you'll need more then 55 Hp to keep up with this car.

Ya they are nice but to me it looks like they tried to improve on the 5th Gen looks and totally struck out.
Ever since they unveiled the 16 I hated every pic of the interior, I tried to stay quiet on my opinion and at least wait until I see it in person, you know.....give it a fair shake at least. Well now that I have seen it?........Well?................let's just say I still feel the same about the interior, I fact I think it is worse in person. It doesn't even feel any different than my 13 interior when it comes to comfort.
Ya I'm sure it is faster and out performs the 5th gens, but I don't race and I really love how this car of mine handles, once I saw the price, that was really the kicker, my attention turned to a gorgeous Stingray sitting next to the Camaros.
My wife finally showed up and joined me at the Camaros and the first thing she said was"if you EVER think of trading your car in one of these, I'm having you checked out by a doctor.....these things are hidious! They look too feminine, unlike the muscular look of the fifth gens that we both fell in love with"
We walked off and didn't even look back......went and checked out the Jaguars though, now those things are sweet!

PS: the new 6th Gen STILL looks WAY better then those ugly ass Mustangs...
Coming from a three time Jaguar owner. Yes they're sweet but you better plan on getting rid of it when the warranty expires!

Not sure if the 2SS or RS level added the plastic door panels but until I saw it in person I thought the Gen5 plastic door panels were going to look cheap. They didn't. They are sort of translucent and look very cool. I especially fell in love with the inferno orange interior color. I thought the orange color was going to look cheap as well just based on it being called orange, but it didn't either. The interior gets wows all the time especially when the top is down.

They definitely have the 5th Gen frumpy little sister look.. seen them two times in person.
You can fix 5th vs 6th gen performance easily

Can millennials even afford a car like the new 6th gen Camaro? It seems to me like they're always dead broke with huge college debt loans to pay off.

This will sound dumb but I'm serious. What exactly a Millennial? I read they were people born between 1990 to 2010. So could they even be out of college by much yet? Is GM trying to market a ~$40000.00 car to 20- somethings, how many can they actually sell to such a group?

Am I missing something on millennials? Are there other attributes associated with them besides their age?

Saw them at SEMA and they have some great aspects; however, overall I like the looks of my '13 2SS RS better. My wife and friends that were with me also agreed they thought the '16s looked nice, but they like the early 5th gens better.

Its strictly a generational thing: Millennials are considered as 18-34 year olds; Gen-X as 35-50; Boomers as 51-69. Side note: Millennials are considered the 'lazy' generation, but I see evidence of that in every generation

That's funny, that was my first impression as well.......too feminine. Hopefully GM will make some good exterior styling tweaks when the ZL1 and Z28 debut. Can't have a girly looking Z on the streets.

Personally I think the Gen6 is an awesome looking car.
It's just going to take me a while to identify it as a Camaro.

I keep hearing "have you seen the new Mustang" from people...and... it's not the mustang they're talking about.
