Id take a foreign built Altima over a Cobalt anyday. Actually are the Altimas built here? I know my Titan was built in Kentucky or Mississippi. I have some close minded friends that always referred to my truck as Jap crap, until they drove it - one (GM nutswinger) offered to buy my 06 off of me (when I traded in for an 09) and the other (combination GM/Chrysler nut) is shopping around for one now. Love my Titan, love my Camaro.

Altima. Drove a rental last year through the mountains. I thought it handled pretty well for a sedan.

Why are you asking a bunch of Camaro fans about a nissan versus honda? Why not ask someone on a nissan or honda forum?

No japanese cars for me, thankyou.

I disagree, Cobalt SS over Altima, any day of the week and twice on sunday.

Is there any reason your son doesn't want the GTI or the Mazdaspeed3? They are cheaper, faster, and nicer...
My dad has a 4 cylinder accord coupe, and trust me, the GTI is way nicer...

I think you should look into an LS Camaro. I wouldn't buy a foreign car no matter where it's made. Just because it's made in a poverty stricken American town that has been exploited by a japanese company doesn't make it any better. I wouldn't be caught dead in a full size foreign truck, what's the point when the Silverado and F-150 are available. I miss my F-150, there is no way a foreign truck could be any better in any way. Sorry, rant over. But seriously buy an LS Camaro, it's around the same price and he'll love you even more.
