The black tail light rings look cool - Did you buy them or powdercoat the factory pieces?

I love that look!!!! I am tinting mine soon, whenever I have the time to take out the tail lights......

I removed the trim rings - very easy by hand, and spray painted them

1 small crease in the corner of 1 ring that I will be fixing on Friday when I remove them to tint the lights.

the covers done come with the GTO emblem like it shows on the wedsite do they?

blackening the chrome or removing the chrome trim makes it look too much like a vette, imo..

yes. they come with GTO logo on the 2 outside covers. I just scraped them off carefully and then used some goo-gone to get rid of the sticker residue.

On the GTS tail light covers, I heard that the velcro on the back of the tail light covers is visible, especially when the light is on, as well as a poor fit. Is that true?

mine were not velco. they were 3M stick tape in 4 different places. On mine, you cannot see the tape thru the covers. The fit could be better, but with a little convincing i got them to fit over very nicely. They are very sturdy on there and do not come loose. It has been washed with a pressure washer a few times and no problems.
