It can certainly be done, getting back to all the emails at the moment, we get flooded each day with emails.

Interchiller currently being installed on a customers ZL1 Camaro with the stock HX in place, custom plate made to mount to the front crash bar without having to cut into the crash bar, we are now supplying the custom mounting plate with all ZL1 installations.
As you can see there is enough clearance with the stock HX for the chiller and plenty of air flow to the rad/condenser/HX.
NOTE: Customer has been very good, mounted the chiller and then reinstalled the front bumper bar and went for a drive monitoring engine coolant temps, Oil temps etc all were 100% normal.

Please note for those that have been asking this is our largest 18.5" interchiller that is mounted like this, the smaller 12.5" also mounts the same.

Most commonly we have people contact us and say; what is the differences between your product and other products?
There are a few things you need to take into consideration before buying an interchiller when comparing it to other systems.

Please take your time reading this:

1. We have chillers in stock the wait time is days.
We provide you with a very accurate ETA on when your chiller will be completed.
You won’t be waiting 12+ months like others have with other systems.

How many chillers have you seen being built lately?

2. We have zero leaks on every system that have been installed, it’s impossible for our system to leak when installed correctly.
Our fittings are not thin welded alloy like some of the other options which can lead to a leak.
Welds can be exposed to 300+psi that your AC system makes.
This can burst a weld even if it’s not leaking when it leaves the shop.
When you expose it to PAG oil and the AC pressures…..this can be the result see post #30 onwards http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...=409808&page=2
Our CNC fittings are 100% made on the CNC machine.
Nothing on our CNC fittings are hand drilled, welded etc removing all aspects of human error, this is when you create problems and the integrity of the fitting is compromised.

3. Hoses and fittings that we use are tested to SAE J2064 standards they actually exceed those standards.
The burst pressure on them is 2500psi, this is impossible for your AC system to achieve, thus it will never burst.

4. The fittings we use have a tensile strength on the weakest part (the radius) of 1600kg / 3527lbs

5. The manufacturer we buy the hoses and fittings from warranties them as long as we use their hoses, clamps and fittings.
As such we warranty the entire system, this shows how confident they are in their product that it will not fail and should it fail which is HIGHLY unlikely it will be replaced.

6. During SAE J2064 testing of the hose/fittings when it fails the part that fails is the actual hose bursting open at 2500psi!!!
The fitting and clamps remain intact still holding the hose to the fitting….only the hose is bursting open.
This shows how strong the clamping system is and the bite force being applied to the hose/fitting.
This is much stronger than regular crimping which is why the manufacturer is able to warranty their product.
It’s a case of buying the best possible AC hose/fittings that is the most versatile, flexible to our needs and of a very high quality.
It may not be the cheapest option but usually the cheapest option has its own flaws.

7. We have a specialized distribution into our chiller, this gets much colder temps and gets colder faster in comparison to other chillers. (cooling time is important in racing)
This is because the distribution of the AC gas is even across all of the plates.
Without the distribution device the gas hits the base of the chiller and only uses the bottom few plates which gives a maldistribution and a poor heat exchange. (see below image)

This is also why IAT temps of 27F are achievable, the intercooler fluid temp at 27F is 9F.

8. We supply step by step photo instructions + video. Other systems come with very little to nothing see here:

9. Our largest chiller 18.5" is the only chiller of this size on the market that can mount to the rear of the ZL1 crash bar.
This is without even having to cut into the crash bar.

10.
You do get what you pay for, it does cost more to build something that is of a higher quality.
You are getting very high quality; hoses, AC fittings, CNC fittings and an amazing chiller that out performs others!!!
CNC fittings are an exact replica of the original CNC fittings that are on your car at the moment.

11. Our system, customer service and support is superior in every aspect.
Whilst I am based in Australia I am more than happy to call you if you have any questions about the system just shoot me an email with your phone number.
I also call everyone during the install to see how things are going. I do not leave you high and dry.

We have been so busy lately with a lot of orders for Forced Induction Interchillers.
These 7 chillers are going to be ready to be shipped out very soon, for a variety of cars.
Even though we are very busy we work really fast, wait times are not months to years like others it's measured in days!

I've got Daves setup and it has worked just fine for a long time. Glad I got one, but it took awhile.

My heat exchanger and trans cooler are almost touching the back of the crash bar. Could it be installed elsewhere?

You could put it inside the crash bar, or you could attempt to mount some where else and we supply extra AC hose for you.
