I launch between 2000-2500 depending on how well the track is prep'd. You can cut 1.6x 60's on 20's as long as you are willing to ride the clutch out but even then its hard to be consistent.

That's an awesome reaction time. Are you using 555r's? What was your e/t and hp level?

P-Zero's (factory 275's) at 590rwhp.

Running NT05R's (20's) and I wasn't able to improve beyond the 1.62.

Best pass et wise was 11.43, best mph was 126.50.

Should be 10.0 this spring on 20's.

Nice! So you didn't get any better r/t with the radials? I'm in the process of an engine overhaul as well. Going with a forged stock ci motor and spec stage 3+ clutch going to be spraying 225 shot at the track. What is going to be done to yours 2010SSRSM6?

No difference in R/T. I'm still going for consistency and not R/T. I've cut a .003 light once though going up against a modded GT-R, but lost on the big end.

Forging and staying stock cubes, maxing out the Maggie and shooting for 800+ rwhp. I had a lifter break at 84k miles. I've pushed it hard for 6 years and she finally had enough.

.003 light is awesome! I hate to get more seat time in so iIcan start cutting lights like that. Are you running the 20's on your new setup? What psi were you running?

I was at 9#'s of boost on the old setup and I'll be on 20's with the new setup for a while.

I was running anywhere from 24-28 psi

Okay that's good to know I may start off around 29# and work my way down. How much rwhp would you say you were making?

590rwhp on a mustang dyno and 640 on a dynojet. So somewhere in that range. lol

Torque was almost exactly where hp was.

Wow 50 rwhp difference between dyno's that's crazy! Well this will be interesting with over 650rwhp with the 20"555r radials. I'll just make sure to ride the clutch out some to try to get out a lot of the spin like everyone is saying. I was having a problem bogging before on just h/c but I think I was letting out the clutch to early maybe

555Rs are better than stock tires, should notice a difference. But the NT05Rs hook better.

Hold your RPM's at about 2200 and play around with the launch. You may find your setup likes more or less RPM so check your time and adjust. If it gets better, you know you went he right direction.

You'll get it but it takes practice.

I currently have 305/35/20 MT ET Street S/S. I've cut a 1.7 60' on them and know I can do a little better than that.
