Keep shopping around, a friend of mine scored a GMPP axleback offroad (basically Borla) on the classifieds here for $500.
I have the SW retro chambered catback. Side by side, my system has a little more volume, but since his still has resonators, it has a noticeably deeper tone. Can't say I like one more than the other, just different. Mine does have more drone though. Need to get some J pipes added on at some point, but it's not so bad that it's on the short list. |

I bought my car used and it had the GM Performance exhaust, from what I have been told it's a Borla system I really like the sound of it, it would pop on decal and sounded really good. I have installed JDB shorty headers and just this past weekend I installed a pair of Borla Atak mufflers and it sounds fantastic, have not been able to take it out on the road as its been raining here in NC, can't wait to hear what it sounds like inside. The mufflers I bought for $555 from Phastek shipped.
