I have been in 6 car shows this summer. I would take a guess and say probably 3,000 people have stopped to look at my V-6 or taken a picture on their phone. It's not about the relevance of the V6, or how well it performs. If GM only offered the V6, then everyone would be buying the V6. If GM offered a 700+hp engine, a lot of people would be buying that too... and the V6 would be ignored.

Having just picked up my 2LT last night... All i can say is that anyone who talks shit about eh V6 is an absolute moron. Admittedly, this is my first sports car... but dammmn she moves!!

Funny thing is that most people who would care own POS cars (to which I tell them right away) and others think the car is awesome.

I bought a V6 cause I drive a lot (save on gas) and I can spend money (that I saved on gas) on it down the line and add whatever the hell I want.

I remind them that most SS restores did not start as SS's, but were made to look like it. So why does it f-ing matter?

I have a funny story for you all. This punk 20 year old at work has the stones to tell me i'm not man enough for a V8 after i told him i got the 6 because its going to be my daily. This guy drives a 4 banger camry on daddy's co-signing and tells me how he will eat my car an day of the week. Well turns out this clown drives his new camry over a curb and does a good number on the bottom of the car. I got word of this and said from what i hear your not man enough for a 4 banger: He just stood there looking stupid and turned red. He had nothing to say and went back to work
