Wow that sucks. Did they deny it due to the tune?

I went ahead and tuned my 2010 6.2 Silverado and 2014 L99 within the first few months... If we wait until the warranty is over then all of a sudden the car is to old to spend much money on...
28K miles on a 2014 L99 now with headers, SS1 CAM, CAI, and of course a tune.

Do it now and enjoy it for the life of the car, or wait until it is not worth doing??? Lets just say I am too impatient to wait.

By the 2,400 mile mark, I had the Cam and full bolt-ons done. I was NOT employed here when I did it either so my opinion isn't completely biased

Pull the stock engine, put it on a stand in the garage, then drop in a LSX crate motor. I did that at 651 miles.

I would get a tune when you no longer care about the power train warranty. Whether it is fully void or not, the dealer is going to fight you on anything power train related if you have a tune. So if you can stomach an out of pocket repair for something then get a tune.

I recently had long tubes installed and had it tuned, 11k miles, one year of daily driving. Seemed like long enough for any major bugs to show up. I will say this, the car is much more fun to drive. Go with a reputable tuner that doesnt max out your transmission tuning and you should be good ... And you will enjoy the car a heckuva lot more.

I was willing to do it as soon as I got the car with extended warranty to 85k, car had about 45k. Money was/is the problem.

Bought a used range device and sent it to range for a free firmware upgrade. But yeah that done killed my ears.
