I am glad to hear this. I thought I was alone. There should be a support group for this illness. One time I asked a friend if I could borrow his car just so I could clean it.

My wife keeps me busy with her black Jetta. She likes to scrape against things??? (rims and fenders) When I'm done with her car I feel the car saying, "Don't let her take me!!" That's why she "drives" a 5 year old VW.

A mall in town has a Tesla dealership inside, so one day I stopped in to their showroom to see one up close. I can understand swirls along the doors, and the outer edges of the hood and trunk from customers touching it (this was inside a mall - lots of looky-loos), but this thing was swirled top to bottom like they'd been washing and drying it with bath towels. The least they could do is coat it with a glaze to hide the swirls some. I couldn't believe they'd present a $100k showroom model with a finish like that. I could have said something, but if these guys are letting it look like that then they aren't going to care anyway.

I would need meds to deal with that double-whammy!

Me too.
I sold my dd to a friend. As with all my stuff, I kept it show room clean .

Pains me to see mud in wheel wells, tar built up on rockers, brake dust build up. And you wouldn't believe how trashed the interior is.
