No, there is confusion about this. Modern Warfare 2 DROPPED the Call of Duty part of the name. So if you read the more computer/game oriented sites- you'll see more topics on this. But MW is now spun off and will be it's own line.

I've had my xbox 360 and never had a RROD- it's wierd how some people have such bad luck. Makes me wonder how consistent your power supply is from the utility company. As far as the PC vs XBox. I was a big PC guy, but I've started to play more and more XBox multiplayer because I got tired of cheats and modders. At least on an XBox- everyone is basically playing a fair field except for some auto trigger mods and such.

I have heard that they are thinking of not useing the Call of Duty name on the future Modern Warfare ones.

I have been trying to figure out the release date for GT5 because some say that the stores list Dec 29 because they are not for certain and the official date would be announced today. Then today they announce that it is going to be released in Japan in March 2010 but apparently don't mention a US release date. Does that means it will be pushed back to summer 2010 or will it be worldwide in March.

It would be nice if my work didn't block gaming sites because I can only read the snippets from Google and not the entire articles.

It is a worldwide simultaneous release in march.

Robert Bowling (Infinity Ward community manager) did actually say in an interview that they are NOT planning on making a Modern Warfare 3. He also said that they will be taking a 3 month break after wards and after this, they will move on to their next project. At this time, they do not know what that project will be but most likely will not be Call of Duty related.

To say that is the last Call of Duty game is overreacting but it is a very good possibility that it is the last for sometime.

EB Games is saying 2/2/2010 but that could be because they've sold their initial allocaiton or something. Amazon said my ship date is something like January 4 or so.

i never played those kinds of games till world at war came out and i got hooked i played 4 some but everybody had all the guns and knew the maps and i got schooled so im sticking with 5 untill mw2
