Yeah the OEM, shifter sometimes just binds:( won't shift... Would you guys recommend hurst then? Also, is this hard to DIY? Or I could take it to a shop..? Thanks

This is what I just bought, Hurst with a upgraded bushings.

Absolutely love the hurst! Great looks and feel, did not order the upgraded bushings and have no issues whatsoever. Also I ordered it the proper V6 pattern knob at time of purchase

Oh oh. What is this I see? Going in tomorrow morning. Also to those who don't know. If you call hurst and tell them that your kit only has the v8 ball, they will send you the v6 ball for free! Cool deal and thanks Derek for the heads up at Amazon.

Nice! I am talking to Steve about designing a clutch for the 14-15 LFX, might have to get him to throw in a shifter while I'm down there

Where in MO are you?

Yep it is a small world. We might have to get together for lunch or dinner some time.

Well it's in. Gonna see how I like it on the ride home. I also polished the strut tower bar while was at work. I need to get my porter cable out and machine polish it. I also changed out my trans and diff fluid to Royal Purple

Ok I'm loving the shifter bit I do not like the fact that the stick is higher now. I'll have to see about a way to lower it

Well since it's the v6 you have to mess with the centering springs but really it's not to bad. I didn't have to lower the rear of the trans. A lot of inside and under the car jockeying going on but all in all not to bad. Took me less than 2 hours and that included watching videos of the install on YouTube.

Good to know. If I don't have the boys at Monster Clutch do it when they design the LFX clutch and install in my car, then I'll know it's not too bad to do. On a lift or jack stands?
