If he pleads innocent I wouldn't be surprised if the officer doesn't tell the judge at that point to nail him for speeding or racing or both . Its a 25 dollar fine . Pay it and move on as others have said . Be thankful the officer was nice to you .

a friend of mine put a built 327 into a Pinto. i went for a ride-a-long and nearly crapped my pants. pretty sure he would bend the frame on that easily.

I had a 79 Z28 new. It had the TH400 automatic, which was good once they fixed its total failure after less than 500 miles. It couldn't really perform well because of all the weight of the fake scoops and big decals all over it. I liked it, but only owned it about 6 months. Sold it to lease a '77 Porsche 911S which was a nice car, but only had 157 hp, but it was lowered and had Recaro seats so it was fun to drive.

Street racing can cause accident. Pay the ticket, and go race at the track. I hope you and others learn a lesson.

How old were you in 1995? That was a good one though.

Dail up sure did suck.
Yeah, and Dial-up wasn't so hot either.

I'm an old guy, but I've been working with computers since 1971. Not an IT guru, but certainly more tech savvy than most geezers. Dual floppies and 64K RAM ring any bells?

Haha! Damn dyslexia. What can I say. Commodore 64 was my first computer. I just found some old floppies the other day from high school and college. I would love to be able to check them out.

I don't know about other states. But, in Kansas, you can pay double and it won't go on your record. $50 is a cheap lesson learned and not take a hit on insurance! Feel lucky!!!

Punch cards, paper tape readers and mag tape for storage! Separate environmentally controlled computer rooms. Remote terminals were a big step up when we moved to them. Now we're moving back to that approach and calling it "the cloud"! One of these days I'm going to retire and resort to nothing more than a smart phone! Won't say I'm getting old, but ....

Knew a guy that had a two-door Vega with a built big block Chevy in it. Nasty machine!!!
