do chevy actually reinforce the underneath on our cars?

The 5th gen was designed for the convertible in mind. Plenty of bracing and what not.

LOL, my first choice for a plate on the vert was THERAPY but it was taken. Then I wondered how many Saturday Night Live fans would look at the plate and say, "I'll take THE RAPY for $500!"

There's also more bracing under the car as well. I find this car handles extremely well. I have a Grand Prix GXP which is an '08 and the Camaro handles better (as it should). So the Vert will handle better than many cars. No need to worry there.

Southern California allows me to drop-top at any time.
If it's below 60, I run the heater.
If it's above 90, I run the a/c.

Do it often, you deserve the convertible life!

After my 330 CiC Vert, I don't think I'll own another hard top as my main car.

Finally got the top down for the ride home yesterday, and yes, it's always exhilarating!

You know it means something when you get home from the daily grind, but are sad that the ride is over!

I've heard the Geo & it's Suzuki brethren were fun.

Absolutely. I would have kept it even longer if I was INTERESTED in being a mechanic. The thing was super easy to work on and keep running, but i just dont have interest in monkey wrenching constantly.

The thing is pristine though. I took the back seats out and rhinolined it. Just hosed the sucker out...

I dont miss only having 80HP and struggling to maintain freeway speed up hills... Ha!
