Instead of everyone saying the stock tires are crap, why doesn't anyone ever offer suggestions of something better?

Um... all pzero's are not created equal. The 245/50 r19 Nero is a top rated (9.8) all season tire for his Camaro. Discount sells for $159+ so the price he got is quite good.

I wouldn't hesitate to get them from the dealer. I wouldn't worry about the dot code unless the tire is more than 4 years old you will wear it out efore the rubber goes bad.
