Hmmm thats weird... I don't think it actually you losing traction tbh. Since the light remained on during the entire pull (almost like a rolling burnout) I would assume there might actually be something wrong with the TC unit in your car. I'm not saying your car isnt powerful bc its for sure faster than mine, but I don't think an SS is going to be doing a rolling burnout from 76mph up to 93mph.

It's just strange that it didn't do it with the P zeros. I got larger z28 replica wheels and bought the new continentals. I wanted a tire that would last longer. So, just figured the tires weren't really good for traction. To be honest, I wouldn't think my car would be able to do that. If I had the Camaro zl1, I would say it would have enough power. It very well could be an issue with the TC. I'm going to have a friend that is familiar with the tires and have him drive the car and see what he thinks. He had the same tires on his Camaro SS and more HP than my car. Worse case, next time I take it to the dealership, I will have hem look at it. Thanks. |

I've talked to more people in my Camaro club and they all drive with the traction control off. Hopefully will fix the issue from it coming on. . |

Have you noticed the front tires throwing up less crap due to the smaller width? I've been considering going with 275 fronts/315 rears. |

Still up in the air on which tire I'll end up with, was looking at the ExtemeContact DW (instead of the DWS)...don't really get much cold weather down here...but torn as to if I should just man up and go with some MPSS', I don't track hardly at all (yet) but certainly don't baby it either Last edited by CodemanZL1; 05-11-2016 at 04:21 PM. |

Anyone tried running 275/40/R20 on the front. Its has the same sidewall height as the rear, but not sure if it would rub on anything its about 1/2" taller then OEM 285's.

That is the combo I'm running with the Conti DWS no problems at all. They are my cold weather tires. With 315/35-20 in the rear.
