My inquiry wasn't due to the shipping expense. He's providing his labor & materials free of charge. I feel it unfair to request one, if there's no benefit unless I plan to upgrade the exhaust, which I have no interest in doing.
I agree though, my curiosity might be reason enough to get one.

With the free shipping, it would be cheaper to get the BMR brace, because it's already painted.

Plus just looks nicer, and the bmr piece is far better quality than the stock piece especially when it comes to suspension pieces

I just installed the BMR tunnel brace on my vert, here it is next to the factory piece. Seems like a nice piece for the money.
