I use a product called Rat Wax. It's designed for hot rods and rat rods with flat matte paint jobs and also works on matte vinyl wraps. I bought it without ever hearing about it. It actually works great. Spray on wipe off and the matte looks better than new. They have a cleaner and a protector. I just bought the cleaner but I'm definatly going to purchase the protector. I thought about the chemical guys stuff but I went this route, I still think ill try their stuff once mine runs out

After 2 years and 22K miles for my DD, I have used nothing special at all. I have a carport at home and park outside at work. This first picture is today and my car hasn't been washed in about 2 weeks. The cat on the vent was the previous weekend, when I visited a friend of mine. My car was dusty from pollen, so that cat left some tracks. The other animal tracks was about a year ago.

Thanks, he's a very friendly cat and when I picked him up, he was warm and toasty underneath.

I use Adams VRT, but I cut it 50/50 with distilled water. I basically divide the hood into 4 areas, pour alittle VRT onto the sponge, work it into the sponge just enough that it isn't a puddle sitting on top and is evenly dispersed on the sponge. The work into on of the 4 areas until all areas are done. Then I go back over it with a double soft towel to knock down whatever little shine is there. And I only apply it about every other wash unless I drive in alot of rain between washes. hope that helps.

I didn't want to get picked on, but the stuff my catch can catches, is what I use on the wrap. I also put it under my eyes and I don't need my sunglasses.

Then you can use the cat to buff it.
