Same here... so now I let the shift lights max out and flash once or put it on the tach display.

Still rather have the shift light and need to program my Aeroforce gauges to do it.

That depends on a lot of things... like tires, surface etc. Get on a road track and you will really get to know your car and the limits.

I currently have an L99 but have had several sticks in my life. If you have to rely on a light to tell you when to shift you might as well buy an automatic. Especially once you get to know the car. Also....even if the lights are on the HUD you should be paying more attention to the road when hauling ass.
