True that! I think GM will use Torque Management (TM) to help preserve the trannies and rear ends in these cars. It seems that would be the easiest way, to me anyways. I know the TM in my car, with the big converter, is a power killer. Any throttle more than 1/3 open feels like the car is hitting the brakes between shifts; it's aweful.

In referrence to the blog, look at what GM's done with the 'Vette to combat the wheelhop. They are actually tuning the frequency of the IRS to combat the wheelhop. It's pretty dang cool if you ask me.

I don't have a problem with the IRS. I'm sure there are going to be more companies that come up with things to make them survive longer. I do know that the clunky rear ends I've had in my two 4th. Gens. we certainly not optimal for much abuse.

Doesn't really bother me THAT much since I'm planning on getting the V6 - 273 torque and 304 hp is good, but I doubt it will be enough to destroy the IRS, even with the exhaust and intake upgrades I'm looking at doing.
