tow hook

Installed the zl1 addons tow hook, glad some of the members led the way with the pictures and info. Made it a fairly easy project.

Anyone know if the ZL1 Addon version mounts to the OEM bumper made for a tow hook? The OEM is 18 mm.

Never tried it as the 5th gens only came with one via export. Edit: I think that is the case anyway.

Shouldn't be necessary to remove any fascia to mount the rear receiver. I was able to mount the rear receiver through the hole in the fascia behind the license plate. The nut that the rear receiver threads into on the forward side of the crash bar is a little tight to get a wrench on, but I was able to hold it in place with a regular open-end wrench (nothing special or custom, just good 'ol Craftsman), while I threaded the receiver into it from the back. I used a 5/8-11 bolt to tighten the receiver into the nut. ZL1 Addon's instructions were pretty good. They'll talk to you on the phone if you have questions.
