I've done that, but try living in an area where you would have to put the heat on if you want the top down. I haven't had mine down yet this year. Been too cold whenever I have a chance to go out. Looks good for this weekend though.

I only do that when I am talking hands free on the phone. It knocks down the noise level quite a bit.

I know it can be perceived as looking a bit silly - in particular on the Camaro - as it really does help to lower the noise level as well as the "turbulence".

My GF is not a fan of my 'vert. She prefers the windows up so that she can benefit from the AC in hot weather driving. Frankly speaking, she'd prefer we don't take the convertible anywhere (not happening!).

I get your point but remember Las Vegas is hot but humidity is usually like 10%. In contrast, Florida is hot and humidity is more than 70% which makes a huge difference as you will be dripping wet in a matter of minutes. June through August/Sept there is not a whole lot of good top down weather except maybe after the sun goes down.

If it is above 60º and not raining, I routinely drive the 11 hour trip between home and WI several times each year. I usually drive at night and yes, the top is down. If you drive during the day, keep the sunscreen handy!! The only downfall is that when I stop at a rest area, I need to pop the tonneau and put the top up for the 5 minutes I'm away from the car. The trunk space is so limited that I am usually packed into the back seat, too :(

LOL, my wife is the same....

This attitude does have its pros....

For those of you who are thinking, "how could you have a relationship with a woman that didn't share your enthusiasm for your convertible", well, let's just say there are other characteristics that outweigh this one.
