I did some research on line at www.gmpartsdirect.com and the master cylinder for the SS is a different part than the LT. I wasn't sure if I was looking up the parts correctly so I went to the local dealer to verify. It looks like the ABS unit is also different between the two models. If they are indeed different, I really don't feel completely comfortable about putting the SS Brembos on my 2LT/RS due to piston size/leverage of the LT master cylinder. Other than looks (the Brembos look great with the factory 20" wheels), I would probably be better off with Hawk HPS pads with the stock braking components. Also, a much cheaper solution.

That was also the option I chose. Not a single problem with the brakes, since I did the upgrade.
