The picture of the Mustang dash reminds me of my old TI-92 Plus.

I agree with the Motor Trend guys. The Camaro no longer competes head-to-head with the Mustang and Challenger. It is an elevated vehicle that can compete with the best of Europe. The Mustang is still a great pony car. I bought the Camaro because it is much more than a pony car now.
How about that rear leg room!

The Mustang also doesn't have a digital speedometer.

I love my Camaro, specialy the way it drives, that's why I got it.

But yes, the interior practicality could have been much better with just a little thoughtful design, it's a point where GM could improove.

It wasn't meant to be offensive. Sorry you took it that way. I just really was expecting a longer list of positives.

No you took it very offensive and jumped the gun.. This wasn't a list of positives this was a list of what the other guy as done better which I feel could have been duplicated in the Camaro.

That's why I didn't post a ton of mechanical or a very complex list. These are items that IMO require very little tweaking.

4- Very subjective, but........ Manual handbrake... I miss a manual handbrake on my car. I understand why e-brakes are the new thing now, but a manual brake just feels right as well as gives you the vote of confidence that it is on there. I won't lie, more than once I have pulled the e brake tab on my Camaro, only to find out the thing never engaged and my car slowly rolled a bit.
1. My iPod Touch works flawlessly, that's without CarPlay of course. Guessing there is something up with your iPhone if you are having trouble or could be a glitch in your particular myLink. To give you a comparison my dad's '13 Fusion with MFT completely restarts the song playing and playlist every time you try to select one. Requiring a full restart on the iPod to clear out the junk MFT is trying to do with it. Sometimes it will work, most times not.

3. I'm wondering if you letting go of the brake pedal before the e-brake actually sets. I noticed there is an appreciable delay from pulling the switch to engagement. This is why the "Park" light blinks then goes solid when engaged (also displaying a message about it in the DIC). Mine has worked perfectly since I started paying attention to the light and message.

The premium interior looks much better than the base.
