May not be my "other" vehicle for long...may sell it soon to get another car with less mileage...I have 130,000 miles on it already.

It's a 2013 Audi Q5 S-Line with a 3.0T engine (supercharged). Does a 14.35 quarter mile at 96 miles per hour. Not bad for an SUV

I fire up the willing engine, responding with a roar. Tires spitting gravel I commit my weekly crime.

Had a 225 slant six and a 3 speed manual, then I built a 318 for it, then I built a 340 for it, then I refreshed that 340 again and swapped the 3 speed out for a 4 speed. I painted it when I was in high school (class of 2013!) and also got new wheels and tires. It's got a big Hurst pistol grip shifter and a 5" tach but other than that, and the bucket seats, the interior is all original. It's even still got the warranty card in the glovebox from the day my grandpa purchased it.

It's far from perfect, but I don't care. This car is special to me and I've had it since I was 9 and have been restoring it for about 5 years now. When I started working on it, I knew literally nothing about cars but I have learned a lot and have done all the work myself during breaks from school. Classic cars are cool and they're just so different than what we're used to today. I love cruising down the road in this thing! My boss has a 2015 2SS and he always gives me crap for driving a V6 Camaro... so I've made it my goal to outrun him in my 43 year old Dodge. My car weighs a lot less, makes the same power, and I've got 4.10's ready to install. Hehehehe.....
Al Bundy would be proud

The "other vehicle" is my wife's 2014 Impala LTZ (new body style). The thing is pretty darn impressive! My DD thought is my work truck, a '13 F-150. Beware the eco-turd engine. I want Ford to take their two turbos back, I want my extra two cylinders back.

1999 Buick Lesebra. Picked it up 4 years ago with 101,000 miles on the clock. 3,000 miles on the tires. It is so quiet that I have to rev the engine to see if it is running sometimes. Ugly as sin but the ride is like a Cadilac. Since it is so quiet it was just begging for a decent sound system. I got a nice Pioneer head unit. Found some really nice 6x9 JBL triaxles on clearance for $60 on Amazon. Then dropped a 10 inch sub with a 200 watt amp in the trunk. I also put remote start on it. It was my daily for going back and forth to work until I retired. Now it is my errand car and I do everything else in my Camaro unless the weather is bad.

My old Ranger went through 3 transmissions by the time I was done with it. Hilariously enough the state is keeping it in the fleet.

Just rolled over 176,000 miles in the F-150.

We typically don't keep anything over 100k due to the service contract. It's laughable how terrible the ford's have been with transmissions. Have to see how the Taurus' hold up. The Impalas were decent cars, but ate brakes, air conditioners, and alternators. Departments around us that went Chargers are dumping them for fords at a high rate.
