Based off the dyno sheets I definitely won't be going with R2C. :P
I don't have a Vararam yet, but heavily leaning that way. |

I went with cai do to most of the performance reviews they were always one of the top performers and as well for the looks, it did give a better exhaust sound as well you could really hear the intake when you went wot

Cold air intakes do not change exhaust noise whatsoever. They change induction noise

The cai actually did marginally change the tone (not volume)on my car was it major no, would everyone of recognized it no, but now if you are talking induction sound that was night and day difference.

Had k&n and roto fab. Roto fab was better built imo but both are solid intakes. I personally didn't like cai Inc (I installed on a friend's car) because filter removal usually involved removing a panel when I could remove the filter for cleaning with one screw on the others
Bottom line; k&n, roto fab and cai are all good. SLP and Hennessey aren't bad either, they may require tunes though.

I have CAI, but the only 2 I would even consider based on data available by searching the forum... Cold air inductions or rotofab.

If your searching the forum then the z/28 cai that was dynoed by a member has it at or near the top as far as hp numbers go. Because nobody sells it here there isnt much mention of it. So if we are going by numbers the z/28 is the way to go OP.

Uh, yeah. It changes up the tone a little bit, depending on the intake. I've tried 2 others besides OEM, they all sound slightly different. I have NPP by the way, stock.

If you have a 2010-2011 I'd choose VARARAM all day, but 2013 and up I'd choose CAI or ROTO-FAB w/scoop.
