Thanks. I called CMS as well. Their suggestion was, all else equal, they usually use 3.45s on supercharged L99 builds, but that it wouldn't be worth spending the money to just swap from 3.27 to 3.45 alone - won't be a noticeable enough difference for the $. I believe they also said (if I remember correctly) you could go to a lower gear ratio than 3.45 with a supercharger (depending on how much power you are putting out - if lots more mods or running lots of boost then they wouldn't), or run a TC. Just depends on what feeling you want, so I came here to ask for peoples' experiences.

Gotta hand it to the CMS guys, easy money would have been to just do the work and slap on some mods I wouldn't feel. They care about customer satisfaction and giving good advice!

Okay cool. Solid advice.
And yeah, I agree about the customer satisfaction.

No suspension or gears will help you without some proper tires. Get yourself some good Drag Radials. Start with that first. I also changed to a 323, but I'm a manual.

Need to keep in mind trap speeds and motor rpms in 4th gear, 1.15:1. The 3.27 diff works out to about 3.78 and 3.45 works out to about 3.97 if 4th gear was 1:1.

Start getting into the low tens and you'll be trapping in the 130s. If I was to go to a 9", 3.45 would be about max, depending on engine rpm and tire diameter.

I've been advised to to stick with the 3.27s, good for dropping in a ZL1 assembly if necessary.
