I'm actually fairly certain my car is capable of doing 88... and beyond.

But anyway, it kind of makes sense for DMC to buy the rights to the Solstice. John DeLorean was the head of Pontiac at one point, and it was under him the GTO came out.

I've driven the Saturn Sky Redline and the Pontiac Solstice GXP and they are little rockets. Fun to drive and both look pretty cool. I love my SS/RS, but I have some love left for other models as well.

I think they should make old style DeLoreans (DMC 12) too. Become a big motor company.
