Probably not rare, per se, but I'm always glad to have something at the end of its developmental cycle rather than the beginning, work-out-the-bugs-at-your-expense, period!

Check the article again. It's been corrected to: -26%

This is cause for concern....usually a model in its last year...especially in the last half of the year suffers a decline in sales due to the fact a new model is soon to be released even with incentives. The new model coming out usually has high sales numbers due to the excitement of it being new. Those numbers seem reversed.....which is very odd.

I almost wrote 20 but decided to keep it conservative.

The 6th gen has really grown on me, but man, they're just much too expensive.

Refer to Camaro6 for all the opinions on this topic. Regardless of which opinion is right, the fact is that they are in a sales slump. I don't buy that GM wants it this way.

It's absolutely asinine to say GM wants low Camaro sales.

This is one of the more common explanation laid out in Camaro6.

I like my gen 5 styling, but the Gen6 is attractive to me as well. I'd love to have that DI engine with the extra ponies and the improved cornering in the SS.
No way, trucks sales are through the roof, Mustangs are selling twice as much as Camaros and the Challenger has out sold the Camaro for the first time. The economy has nothing to do with it.
