In My Opinion - The 2002 T/A is the same crappy body as a 4th gen Camaro - ugly, sissy looking p.o.s. The only good T/A's are from before 1981.

Huh? I've never heard anyone say the WS6 looks like a sissy. Easily the best looking cars of its generation in its class.

I miss my 4th Generation Camaro so much. Since you don't have to worry about bad weather down in Texas, I would jump on the T/A in a heartbeat.

HOWEVER, go test drive the thing. The 4th gen sits so low, and can be uncomfortable to some people.

I would say T/A as well.. but not for anywhere near 12K maybe 9ish depending on mods but those miles are a killer for resale so the ball could be in your court. Now it the body has 102 but the motor/tranny/rear have much much less maybe more in the 10 range but in reality its a 02 Trans Am WS6 KBB value of about 7700 in GOOD condition...

T/A for sure.
They seem to be holding some value now when they are not trashed.

Price is way too high on the T/A for that mileage, don't care how clean it is. With the WS6 I'd offer maybe $9K. He'll laugh, tell you to pound sand. Leave your number and in two months he'll call asking if your offer still stands. In the meantime you will have bought a c5 Corvette for what he was asking originally.

Get the ws6. With the little money that you will save add headers or cam. What's the kbb on it?

Going to go against the rest and say go for the Camaro. Far better creature comforts, 10 years newer.

having owned both and owned a 4th Gen Z/28 (as well as a 99 WS6 TA) while I have my 2010 2LT/RS I will say I drove my 2001 Z/28 a handful of times since owning my 2010. I sold my 01 Z/28 last November and still own the 2010.

Me Stacy, the one I was trying to get looked just like that one. Oh well it's gone now I'll just keep looking around and see what happens
