Be glad you dont have a dark color. My Silver truck is easy to maintain (paint imperfections are definitely masked) compared to my AGM camaro.

Mine is one of those beat up Camaros. Not through fault of my own. It has 1118,000 miles It's been hit 4 times, three major hits and countless door dings. To keep it perfect it would be in the body shop more than on the road. Decided to leave it until I finish fabricating all the body parts I'm working on then a repaint. Want a nice target for the next go round. Lol

I admittedly have a garage queen and I love it. That is what I bought it for and plan to have it to show and enjoy as it ages into a sure classic. I love the compliments when I do get it out. That being said, I hope when my kids are grown to buy a second one as a beater DD to beat the ever lovin' p--- out of; because that's what I'll buy that one for! It will get upgraded with every used part I can score for cheap, ridden hard, and put away wet. I will park in the front row. I will never change course with my 2013 or the way I feel about it, but ask me when I'm 70 which car I had the most good times in and I bet I know what the answer would be.

I just need two. Beaters can be fun!

I would love to have another one. I've said it before and I'll say it again You don't realize what you have until you don't have it no more I'd take my 14V6 back in a heartbeat if I could It was finances that made me get rid of it in the first place Not a day goes by that I regret having to make that decision but, hey that's life

I think some people figure it's a mass produced car, so they can beat it up and get another.

I fit several of the above conditions, but I still keep my 2015 V6 clean. It actually won best in show a couple of weeks ago. Go figure and it never sees a garage and is a daily driver with a long commute via I-75 parking lot in Atlanta, GA. Now my other car, a 2007 Foose sat most of its life never seeing a garage until the Camaro came home. The Foose has over 130K miles and won Best in Class 1990 and Newer this past weekend. For me, cleanliness and protecting my cars is a way of life - and could be life limiting for others! LOL

Definitely limiting here - I have neither the skill nor the patience nor the ability to work bent over long enough to do the level of detailing that you're doing. Never mind what a day at the track has the potential for doing.

Congratulations on both, you've earned it!

Its a bit difficult to keep mine clean with a 600' gravel driveway and no rain for the past month plus dust from the wood dust collection system at work. I try to wash it once a week but usually only get to the car wash every other week. She is a dirty, big hipped girl for sure.

Gotta love the dirty girls.

Nothing but mild road rash since 2011 on two SS Camaros, one a vert and always parked far away or taking two spots, then I see guys parking up front and squished at Walmart with their new challenger etc...and wonder how long....

Wife bought new Tacoma, 1st month some A hole throws egg at truck while she is driving to work at 2:30 am, minor chip LF fender and sine we work together I cleaned it at work when I showed up at 6:00, with in two months minor chip from some one else's door dinging the R/R fender outer painter flare......

Now she does park closer to people, but the egg....If that was me and someone did that on my way to work driving the other way there would have been some additional road kill for the street crew to clean up as I would chase that SOB into hell to get my retribution and pound of flesh. But I am a man.

mine stays outside 365 days a year and I am amazed at how nice it stays, two bucket approach, don't touch the paint any more than I have to. do correction if needed and polish in the spring, monthly coat of Collinite 915. and it says nice. now I have seen a couple that I am pretty sure don't see a good waxing or let alone a good wash once a year. when I get a compliment about how good it looks I will tell them what goes in to it. obvious us detailing addicts are a different bred

I can understand dust, a little dirt here and there; After all these things do accumulate dust from wind and the brakes.

What I don't understand are large dings, broken parts from neglect, curb rash on all 4 wheels, or just an accumulation of neglectful treatment of a great car (a car that isn't necessarily cheap). Its one thing if you inherit a car that you don't like.

Its quite another thing to abuse and neglect a car that you've scoped out for awhile, and worked and saved hard to obtain. These things happen but I am not forgiving of them (well to a point because its not my car being abused).
